This wonderfully intimate reading of the timeless classic comes exactly a week since Elvis introduced it to his set list. There are probably very few songs so suited to being performed in Las Vegas and the song also suits Elvis perfectly.
The song’s delivery and arrangement would evolve over the next five years or so but on this rendition listen closely for the organ appearing just as the second verse begins.
