Elvis Presley - You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling - 13 August 1970, Dinner Show (audio only)

Throughout the seventies, Elvis' setlists remained pretty rigid throughout a tour or Las Vegas engagement with new songs usually introduced on the opening night and changes thereafter were usually at a minimum with the odd song change on a show by show basis. The exception to this however, usually occurred when RCA were taping for a live album and this was evident during August 1969 and in February 1970 where certain songs were performed purely for the benefit of the subsequent live album. This pattern was also true during the filming of That's The Way It Is as by Elvis dinner show of 13 August 1970, the sixth show of the engagement, only six songs had been performed at every show. The songs in question were the opening and closing songs, That's All Right and Can't Help Falling In Love respectively, Love Me Tender, Polk Salad Annie, Bridge Over Troubled Water and You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling. Testament to that is that after main production for the movie ceased the setlist settled down and normal business was resumed for the remainder of the engagement.

Having previously filmed three versions of the song already, it is unsurprising that MGM's cameras were not running as Elvis performed You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling for the sixth consecutive show and therefore this video is audio only.

As with all of these videos, to get the most out of the audio, I highly recommend you use ear /headphones and turn the volume up as much as you dare
