Elvis Presley - I Just Can't Help Believing - 11 August 1970, MS - Re-edited with Stereo audio

I've written extensively on Elvis' performances on this song over previous uploads of other renditions of this song so there is very little to add to this particular version. This performance takes place just about four hours after Elvis' rendition which would be included in the original 1970 movie and would become the RCA master and subsequent single and album opener. It is unsurprising then that this version is very similar to that from the dinner show earlier in the evening.

The footage of this version from the 11 August 1970 midnight show, has the camera set mostly on the band and backing singers although it does finally land on Elvis later in the song. For some reason the crew did not film the reprise of the second verse after the instrumental but resumes with the ending featuring the Sweet Inspirations.

As with all of these videos, to get the most out of the re-edited audio, I highly recommend you use ear /headphones and turn the volume up as much as you dare!
