Elvis Presley - The Wonder of You - 13 August 1970, Dinner Show - In HD and re-edited with RCA audio

The Wonder of You was a big hit worldwide for Elvis after it's release as a single after it had appeared on Elvis "On Stage" album which, in the main, showcased recordings from Las Vegas during February 1970. The RCA master was recorded during his dinner show of 18 February.

This particular rendition first came to our attention in the Lost Performances and subsequently the 2001 TTWII re-edit. However due the re-edit to include Vic Anesini, Sony's head engineer, and the wonderful job he has done with the audio, this now sounds almost like Feb 70.

This video highlights the fact that despite his own undeniable talent and charisma, Elvis was always eager to showcase the talents of the musicians within his own band - in this case James Burton, who performs the solo in his own spotlight.

As with all of these videos, to get the most out of the re-edited audio, I highly recommend you use ear /headphones and turn the volume up as much as you dare!
