Galaxie 500 - Today/On Fire (1988/1989) MUSIC REVIEW

Formed in Cambridge, MA in 1987, Galaxie 500 was short-lived yet incredibly influential across the underground music scene. Their first 2 albums, 1988's "Today" and 1989's "On Fire", are often seen as pioneering records of the "slowcore" genre, which would take shape during the 1990s, as well as being two of the best and most important dream pop albums ever recorded. Today, we're going to take a look at them.
