Liz Phair - Whitechocolatespaceegg (1998) ALBUM REVIEW

After taking a small break from the music spotlight to focus on marriage and raising her newborn child, Liz Phair returned from 4 years of (mostly) musical absence with one of her most peculiar records: Whitechocolatespaceegg. The album, which spins lyrics from her personal life into distinctly bright indie tunes, would mark her final ventures in the indie genre, before shifting to unabashed contemporary pop in 2003 on her self-titled record. Today, we take a look at it.
