(As with many of my more recent videos, the editing in this review is somewhat of an experiment that I'd like to gain some feedback on. I've been thinking of ways to make my videos more appealing to my viewers, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could leave some constructive criticism/feedback, containing your thoughts on the editing, in the comments of this video. Thanks for watching!)

Years after their formal breakup, caused by the unfortunate death of lead vocalist Shinji Sato on March 15th, 1999, Japanese indie band Fishmans has garnered a cult following online. Thanks to Internet music communities such as 4chan's /mu/ board, and massive online forum RateYourMusic, the band has found the most posthumous praise from two of their records: the iconic 98.12.28 男達の別れ (Otokotachi no Wakare/A Man's Farewell), often considered one of the greatest live albums of all time, and LONG SEASON, the band's 1996 experimental and progressive project, standing out as the most unique entry in the Fishmans catalog, with its 35-minute length, presented as one
continuous piece, and overall shift in sounds and styles from the "dream pop" and "dub" styles that the band is known for. Today, we're going to take a look at it.
