[MY FAVORITE DISCOVERY OF 2019 - CHANNEL UPDATE AROUND 11 MINUTES INTO THE VIDEO]

After exposing the world to his insane lo-fi folk sound collages on Dinosaur Jr's 1987 breakout album "You're Living All Over Me", Lou Barlow committed 23 deeply personal and emotional tracks to tape in 1986 and 1987, titling the end result "Weed Forestin'". It became his first official solo musical outing, released originally under the name Sentridoh in limited quantities, before being released in 1990 under the far more recognized Sebadoh name. In this video, we take a look at Weed Forestin, discuss its inner workings, and see how it has become one of my favorite albums of all time, and one that defined my 2019 in more ways in one.
