Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral (1994) ANNIVERSARY REVIEW
(CORRECTION TO THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO: Trent Reznor was 24 when he released 'Pretty Hate Machine', and 27 when he released 'Broken'. Sorry about the mix-up.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Following 1992's abrasive and heavy "Broken" EP, Trent Reznor decided to write a Nine Inch Nails album that centered on some of the most taboo topics he could have ever imagined. "The Downward Spiral" is an album dealing with drugs, suicide, violence, nihilism, sexuality, and religious hatred, packed into one intense and horrifying product that remains Nine Inch Nails' most iconic and important album. To commemorate 25 years of "The Downward Spiral", we're going to take an in-depth look at the album and all that it has to offer.
