2023-03-29 Xiao Qi Ji ~ Trading Spaces, Papa Steals the Show!

#PandaStory: This morning Xiao Qi Ji and papa Tian Tian changed yards/rooms for awhile, a wonderful form of enrichment for both of them. The video starts out with Tian Tian in Yard 2 rubbing/anointing as he positions himself in the multi-trunked hemlock tree.

Then we see our beloved Qi Ji who seemed to be looking for a place to rest. He was quite silly trying to "fit" in the tree near the Panda House and made it work for a bit (he loves his evergreen in yard 2 which is much more QJ-friendly). He tried twice, heading toward the deadfall down front for a bit, but ultimately he discovered a spot near the pool that was just right for a nap!

Then we see Mei Xiang anointing in yard 3, but then the CO discovers Tian Tian in Room 2 at the top of the rockwork, also anointing! Tian Tian then shows his passion for water by getting in the Qi Ji's indoor pool at least 3 times! Tian Tian also left his mark in the bedroom too!

After his nap and eating bamboo, Qi Ji returned to the deadfall and tree in the front of yard 1. (This is the same area where we saw Tian Tian anointing on March 4th: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQNPb18KmgU). Again he was quite silly just hanging out in the tree in what appeared to be an awkward position. He did grab a small branch with leaves on it too.

Much later, after eating his lunch, Qi Ji was asleep atop rockwork 2, and daddy Tian Tian was captured taking a bath in his room 1.
