Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) was an Autrian prolific and influential composer of the Classical period, virtuoso harpsichordist and violinist. Despite his short life, his rapid pace of composition resulted in over 800 works of virtually every genre of his time. Many of these compositions are acknowledged as pinnacles of the symphonic, concertante, chamber, operatic and choral repertoire. Mozart is one of the greatest composers in the history of Western music. His elder colleague Joseph Haydn wrote: 'Posterity will not see such a talent again in 100 years'.

'Alla Turca' (Allegretto), also known as 'Turkish March', is the third movement of the 'Piano Sonata No. 11 in A, K. 331 / 300i, composed in 1783 and published in 1784.

With views from Turkey, and scenes from the movie 'Amadeus' (1984) with Tom Hulce as 'Mozart'.

Recorded in the album 'Face(s) à Face(s)' (2021).
