Romain Leleu, 'The Cuckoo' (Louis-Claude Daquin)

Romain Leleu (1983) is a French virtuoso trumpeter and teacher. Instrumental soloist revelation by the 'Victoires de la Musique' (French Grammy Awards) in 2009, Romain Leleu performs all over the world with a repertoire ranging from Baroque concertos to the 21th century. As soloist he appears with the main French and international orchestras. Romain Leleu teaches at the Lyon Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique.

Louis-Claude Daquin (1694-1772) was a French composer of Jewish ancestry, writing in the Baroque and Galant styles. He was a virtuoso organist and harpsichordist.
