Andrea Giuffredi, 'The Lonely Shepherd' (James Last)

Andrea Giuffredi (1965) is an Italian trumpeter, composer, arranger and educator. He is heralded worldwide as a once-in-a-lifetime virtuoso trumpet artist - truly one of the finest and most versatile performers on stage today.

James Last (1929-2015) was a German composer, arranger and big band leader of the James Last Orchestra.

'The Lonely Shepherd' was published on Last's 1977 album 'Memories of Russia'. The solo was played by 'The Master of the Pan Flute', the Romanian Gheorghe Zamfir (1941).
