Making a Single Leg Dead Lift More "anti-Left AIC" Pattern and "anti-extension"
I place a premium on single leg training for two main reasons. First, human movement is based on walking, and walking includes the right and left side doing different things. Bi-lateral training forces both sides to do the same thing. That leads to the second point, walking includes one side of the body to be extended while the other side is flexed. Bi-lateral training imposes bi-lateral extension. Too much bi-lateral extension can cause major issues. This channel wouldn't exist if bi-lateral extension wasn't an issue.
This is a single leg deadlift using a kettlebell. The arm placement, torso rotation, left ZOA maintenance, and left heel and right arch references make this version of the exercise more anti-extension pattern.
