Why We "Reach" During PRI Exercises

Many PRI exercises utilize reaching with the arms.

Reaching is used for many reasons, two of which I cover in this video.

We use reaching with the right arm to drive our pelvis and spine to the left in order to get our left ZOA.

We use left reach to push the ribcage back and train the ability to maintain our left ZOA long enough so that we don't move back to the right prematurely.
