Joan of Arc from Mark Twain

On my YouTube channel, I have been documenting the acting career of former Tarheel Josh Wolonick from about the age of nine up to the present date on my YouTube pages. Josh, who is my grandson, graduated a little more than one year ago from UNC Chapel Hill, with highest honors in both Performing Arts and English. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, my birthplace and a haven for young actors, but as of tomorrow he will move to upper Manhattan, sharing an apartment with a fellow Tarheel, which will make it more convenient to work his financial column in "Minyanville" on the Internet, and for the frequent auditions which he attends. He has been featured in several off-off Broadway productions, as background in TV and Internet programming. In his final semester at UNC, he directed a full blown version of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar," and immediately thereafter had a major supporting role in "Romeo and Juliet" performed at the amphitheatre in Durham, NC. In New York, he has appeared in Shakespeare's "Othello," and just closed on off-off broadway as a homeless person in a short original play presented in a Greenwich village festival. Before leaving North Carolina, he performed in Raleigh in an ensemble cast's musical version of Mark Twain's "Joan of Arc." Mark Twain, we are told, was fascinated with the story of the great French heroine, and this musical was based upon a small part of her life. Josh's great ambition and talent has taken him into every facet of acting which he loves so much, and we are sure that ultimately he will achieve his every goal and ambition because of his great talent and love of the theatre, as well as his very positive attitude. This was a production of "Urban Gardens Performing Arts," written by Luke Wallens, choreography by Nicolla Bullock and PJ Maske, music by "Bevel Summers (Jeb Brinkley, David Hutcheson, Dylan Turner, Will Franke, and Jack Fleishman), and the other members of the very talented ensemble cast were Nicolla Bullock, Matthew Hager, Kristen Lanser and PJ Maske (Urban Garden's Artistic Director).
