客家人爱吃的丸子【清蒸萝卜丸】Hakka Radish Meat Balls

过去客家人每逢年过节都会吃萝卜丸。很遗憾,流传百年的客家美食快要被遗忘了。我问过几位客家朋友有吃过萝卜丸吗?他们说家里老的不在,这小吃已经很少吃了。还有些客家朋友没吃过。因此借此机会唤醒他们,继续传承这美食。并迎接下一个喜庆,团团圆圆。

In the past, Hakka people would eat radish balls every Chinese New Year. It's a pity that the Hakka cuisine that has been circulating for a hundred years is about to be forgotten. I asked a few Hakka friends if they have eaten radish balls? They said that the elders at home passed away, and this cuisine is seldom eaten. Some Hakka friends have never eaten it. So take this opportunity to wake them up and continue to pass on this delicacy. And greet the next celebration and reunion.

Ingredients of radish balls/ 萝卜丸材料:
400g Shredded radish 白萝卜丝
20g Dried shrimp 虾米干
10g Cuttlefish shreds 鱿鱼丝
100g Cooked minced meat 熟肉碎
120g Tapioca flour 木薯粉
1tsp Chicken stock powder 鸡精粉
1tsp Fine sugar 细砂糖
2tbsp Water 水

Ingredients for cooked minced meat/ 熟肉碎材料:
100g Minced pork 猪肉碎
1tbsp Minced shallots 小洋葱碎
1tbsp Minced garlic 蒜末
1tbsp Oyster sauce 蚝油
1/4tsp Chicken stock powder 鸡精粉
1/2tsp Sugar 糖
1/4tsp Pepper 胡椒粉
2tbsp Cooking oil 食用油
