In 1984 the band Dokken released their second album 'Tooth and Nail' which was full of great hard rocking, catchy tunes with great vocals and an absolute fire breathing monster of a guitar player named George Lynch, aka "Mr.Scary."

The big single on that album was the power ballad "Alone Again" and this lesson is all about that melodic solo masterpiece by Lynch.

Centered in the key of E minor this solo is a masterclass in guitar phrasing, bending, vibrato and tone...not to mention style and attitude! There is so much to gain by studying solos like this. You can sing every line.
