Summer Plum and Almond Cake ASMR

As summer winds down, I'm thankful to have had this opportunity to share videos with you. For now, this channel is run entirely by myself - I pick and develop recipes, test them, make them, film, direct, edit, and produce the final videos. I've learned so much, and there's so much more that I want to learn. For this video, I've kept the music volume down to highlight the ambient sounds of the kitchen - hope you like it!

Summer Plum Almond Cake

Plums burst into season in late summer -- their meaty, jewel-hued flesh make the best tarts and pies. This recipe is halfway between a pie and a cake; it's the perfect vessel for this beloved stone fruit.
1 cup flour
1/2 cup almond flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup apple sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
12-14 plums
powdered sugar for dusting
