In 1983 Motley Crue released their second album Shout At The Devil.
Guitarist Mick Mars was an underrated player who got lumped in with the glam metal crowd and never seemed to get his due as a guitarist. This solo from the track "Too Young To Fall In Love" should have put all the doubters to rest but still never changed many people's perceptions.

Regardless, this is a ripping solo and very well put together. The main scale being used is E Phrygian Dominant which gives it a little bit of an exotic vibe. Lots of good stuff to get your fingers busy with!

Remember to tune down one whole step to play along (D standard).
