Cinderella's second album 'Long Cold Winter' hit the shelves in 1988 and had a couple of big hits including "Don't Know What You Got" (Til It's Gone) and the subject of this video "Gypsy Road." The album has a decidedly more laid back bluesy sound than the first record which had more of a metal edge.

"Gypsy Road" is a great feel good track and the guitar solo by lead vocalist/guitarist Tom Keifer is perfectly simple with great phrasing.
As mentioned in the video, the approach here is to follow the backing chords on the solo--D, A to E, rather than use one scale for the entire solo.
