The July and August 2021 saw some solid swell hitting Indonesia, lighting up world famous spots along the Bukit Peninsula in Bali, notably Padang Padang.

Here's some drone and camera footage of an afternoon surf session at Padang Padang. With Padang Padang beach closed and other cliff top spots shut, this was filmed from Le Cliff, near Dreamsea Surf camp.

It was a pretty crowded line up as local surfers and tourists alike who didn't fancy surfing Uluwatu on an 8ft gun flocked to Padang Padang, ready to surf the 8.5ft @17s swell. It made for some interesting viewing with lots of close call drop ins, party wave style barrels and a few inevitably snapped boards.
