Korean Royal Palace Tour Gyeongbokgung in Seoul South Korea - vlog #015

On today's trip, I'll touring the Gyeongbokgung Palace 경복궁 and Seoul Lantern Festival. Gyeongbokgung Palace is the largest one Royal Palaces in Seoul and has been often used as a filming location for some Korean Dramas! This is a popular tourist location in Seoul and it even has a subway exit right next the site. Enjoy some of the sights, the garden, sit down in tea house, and see people dressed in the traditional hanbok. Walking through the palace grounds would probably take around 1-2hours in order to explore the place if you plan on visiting.

If you're still around the area be sure to head to Coffee Gieop 커피기업 which I think is a hidden gem and is one of the best coffee places in Seoul! Try their Snow Vienna which is a dark roast coffee with a fluffy vanilla foam. This coffee may look and sound simple, but I can assure you that it will be unlike any coffee that you probably have had. The texture of it is similar to drinking beer with a silky foam on top.

Later in the evening we'll visit a part of the Seoul Lantern Festival. This festival occurs in November so be sure to check out the dates and the location on where it takes place. In this festival there will be tons of displays that shine throughout the night along the river and is free for anyone who wants to attend! Apparently I missed out on the bigger art pieces if I walked along the river, but I'll save that for my next visit!
