Delicious Japanese Food in Tokyo Roast Beef Bowl - vlog #037 part 1

This will be our second day here in Shibuya and we'll be exploring the food scene here in Shibuya and also a bit in Shinjuku as well. Shibuya is pretty big and has many popular destinations such as Harujuku and Takeshita Street, which have tons of boutique fashion stores, vintage stores, and also good restaurants! Here's some of the locations below if you're location on where to eat in Shibuya.

Our first stop is Red Rock Harujuku which may be a bit hard to find. Look for a Cow's head and there will be a stairway leading downstairs. Red Rock Harujuku is known for their beef bowls and the two prominent ones on their menu is the roast beef bowl and the steak bowls. I ordered their No. 2 which is the Large Roast Beef Bowl and this thing was amazing. The roast beef was juicy, tender, and with the richness of the yolk and yogurt sauce it was a spectacular combo. The roast beef tastes very different from american roast beef that I've had. This dish was one of my favorites in Japan. Remember to bring cash since this place has a ticket vending machine and there is also a English menu available.

Our next stop is Harujuku, which has many boutique shops, vintage clothing stores, and street clothing. Although I'm not a huge shopper there is a cafe that I wanted to visit, called Reissue Cafe, which is known for their 2D 3D latte art. The lattes are good and the art is pretty awesome. You can pick between 2D or 3D latte art and you can show them a image of the art piece that you would like. Just note that there is an additional cost for latte art.

After you enjoy your latte, maybe you want some dessert next! Takeshita Street is a pretty lively area which has many souvenir stores, clothing stores, and also many dessert shops! I saw the huge line at Zakuzaku and had to drop by to try it! This place makes two things Milk Soft Serve and a Croquant Chou
(crispy almond/nut pastry filled with milk cream). The Milk Soft Serve was just amazing here, the texture of it is similar to custard and it was very silky and creamy. The croquant chou toppings on the side add a slight crispy and nutty taste which was very good as well!

Stay tuned for part 2!
