Clam Ramen Mugi to Olive in Tokyo Exploring Ginza - vlog #036 part 1

If you're looking on where to eat in Ginza Tokyo Japan; here are some recommendations! Ginza is one of the most expensive areas in Tokyo and is similar to a downtown area of a major city. There are tons of companies here, high end department stores, and expensive restaurants here as well! However don't let the prices scare you, there are affordable eats for those who are travelling on budget as well. It's a cool place to visit and you'll probably stroll through the area at least once especially if you are heading to Tsukiji Fish Market or which is now known as Toyosu Market.

We'll be visiting Ginza Noodles むぎとオリーブ 銀座店 also known as Mugi to Olive when you are searching online for information on this restaurant. This shop serves some unique ramen, which contains seafood and soba noodles in their bowl. When walking into this place you'll see a vending machine where you can place your order and a english menu right above it. I actually made a mistake in ordering and thought I ordered just the clam ramen, but instead I ordered the clam, sardine, and chicken ramen. If you match the red japanese characters and prices on the english menu to the vending machine you probably won't make the same mistake haha. The bowl that I had turned out amazing and I'm sure their regular clam ramen is just as good! When visiting be sure to bring cash, because the machine does not take credit card.
The dish that I ordered is the "Specially Made Triple Soba of Chicken, Small Dried Sardines, and the Clam." This bowl of ramen was really awesome and really unique. They use soba noodle which are buckwheat noodles and the broth soy flavored chicken broth with added flavors of clams & sardines in my bowl. The flavor was slightly salty, sweet, light, and with a bit of oil/fat. I recommend trying this out if you're a ramen lover and want to try some unique bowls! Also one of my relatives went here as well and wanted to include that the tsukemen dishes here are really good as well. Fun fact: I also found out that this place has received the Michelin's Prestigious Bib Gourmand three times as well.

We'll also be visiting Nissan Crossing, and yes I know it is a car dealership, however they have a cool cafe at the top called Crossing Cafe. The cafe at the top has a printer that can print images on top of your latte! They call it Macchiart on their menu. They can take your picture there with their tablet or you can provide them a picture as well. The latte isn't anything special and won't blow you out of this world, but the latte art is pretty cool!

Stay tuned for part 2!
