A lot of people with bulimia especially exercise related don't look like they have an eating disorder. If you think you might be living with bulimia or know someone who is it's important to understand that eating disorders are mental health issues. Not just medical conditions.

Rebecca Eyre, MA, LMHC, and JED Expert, suggests reaching out to a trusted adult or supportive community if you or someone you know is struggling with bulimia. You can also try getting help from NGO's such as: Alliance for Eating Disorders (ANAD), and National Eating Disorder Foundation. Reaching out is important, you shouldn't have to go through this journey alone. Don't let fear get in the way of you reaching out and getting the help you deserve.
