Japanese Mitarashi |日式醬油糰子｜ Traditional Japanese snack ｜傳統人氣日式甜點

Mitarashi is a traditional Japanese snack which is glutinous rice balls skewered onto sticks and covered with soy sauce glaze.
The chewy rice balls are mildly sweet and they have a hint of char from grilling.
I can always remember the first time I tried the Mitarashi in Tokyo when I was 16 (long time ago though!😂) . I got gooey, sweet and savour texture and flavour from each bite and totally in love with it. Ever since I insist to have one (or two or more...?) when I have the chance to go to Japan. No wonder the Mitarashi is one of the most popular treat in Japan.

還記得16歲那年第一次到東京，街頭上被這造型可愛聞起來焦香焦香的醬油糰子給吸引，鹹甜滋味，外酥內韌又嚼勁十足，從此之後便念念不忘。
日本無法常常去，但材料簡單製作容易的醬油糰子我在家可以常常做！嘴饞時來上一串（通常不只一串！）滿滿的幸福感在嘴裡，在心裡。

Ingredients 食材：

For rice balls糰子食材—
Glutinous rice powder 糯米粉 80g
Water 水 60g

For the glaze抹醬食材—
Soy sauce 醬油 7g
Brown sugar 黑糖 25g
Water 水 30g
Corn flour 玉米粉 5g
Water 水 15g
