2/ Woodturning a Lidded Pot - Walnut with a hybrid wood & resin finial

Part I of woodturning a not-quite-a-hollow-form lidded pot from a GORGEOUS piece of very dry and cracked walnut. The finial is turned from a blank I cast with walnut and Allumilite Clear Regular Set resin tinted with sapphire blue mica powder. I filled the cracks with the same mica powder and CA glue.
