6/ Turning a cherry burl and resin hybrid bowl - and making it FLY!

Today’s project is turning the hybrid blank I cast in the last video. It’s a beautiful piece of cherry burl combined with Alumilite resin tinted with blue mica powder.
This was my first flying lesson - fortunately, the landing didn’t destroy the bowl and I was able to finish the piece, though it was a bit shorter than I’d originally planned! 😂
