Betty Phillips Part Two
Betty Phillips (1923-2019) was born in Vancouver and trained as a singer. She became identified with Theatre Under the Stars, premiering in Robin Hood in 1946 and subsequently playing principal roles in about 20 musicals. She also sang with the Vancouver International Festival and the Vancouver Opera, and acted in productions with Totem Theatre, the Vancouver Playhouse, and many other companies, primarily in western Canada. She also had a successful career in radio, television and film.
