Charmion King Part Two

Charmion King (1925-2007) was born in Toronto and first achieved critical acclaim in the title role of Saint Joan at Hart House Theatre. She was an original member of the Straw Hat Players and the Crest Theatre, and became a leading performer for the Stratford Festival. Although she was also very active in television and movies, she remained best known as a grande dame of Toronto theatre.
