4498 Sir Nigel Gresley - Loaded Test Run (DBLM Steam)

4498 Sir Nigel Gresley - filmed during its Loaded Test Run on Tuesday 17th May 2022 - running from Crewe - Chester - Shrewsbury - Oxley - Stafford - Crewe - and captured on video at Albrighton (1/137 gradient before steepening to 1/100) and prior to this at Shrewsbury. The train arrives in platform 4 before the class 47 diesel at the rear hauls the train back out to the Coton Hill Sidings for servicing.
Despite having plenty of time to get to a third location at Penkridge - the train ran considerably early between Bushbury and Stafford and my reward upon arrival in the car park was but a brief glimpse and a whistle!
How wonderful to see this fantastic masterpiece of a locomotive back on the main line - and what a great reward it will be all those who have worked on it and contributed financially...
