Badger and cubs feast - ( DBLM Wildlife)

Another privileged opportunity to almost share a meal with a very healthy badger community. I wanted to capture the mighty munching sound of these wonderful creatures - and what a great display of social behaviour, with a low key polite arrival and departure, and a thorough demolition of every piece of apple, almond and peanut. There are possibly seven badgers seen at once - and it is the cubs that are featured on the steps (each step has a drop of about eight inches). The degree of intent to devour the food meant my presence (between one and five metres away) was not an issue, although remaining exceptionally still and totally silent was imperative.
