North Norfolk Railway - Spring Gala 2023 (DBLM Steam)

A sunny spring day on the Norfolk Coast as visiting locomotives 34028 Eddystone and 401 from the North Tyneside Railway, alongside NNR regulars 76084 and 92203, are seen climbing Weybourne and Kelling Banks. The event saw the usual intensive and varied train service but with less locomotives available than for traditional galas on this small but very impressive preserved railway. The unavailability of 53809 and 90775 meant the use of English Electric diesel D6732, more generally referred to these days as a 'class 37'.
