LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS Season 4 (Volume 4) Netflix Release – 2023; Tim Miller & David Fincher Return

He guy, guys! Great news as Netflix just renewed Love, Death and Robots for Season 4, or Volume 4, as it’s called on the streaming platform. The Season 4 renewal came three months after Volume 3 was released on Netflix in May. Such quick renewal makes total sense because Love, Death and Robots has garnered rave reviews since its debut in 2019. On IMDb, it has a sky-high viewer approval score of 8.4 out of 10. After just three seasons, the anthology animated series boasts 16 award wins, including ELEVEN Emmys and 18 award nominations. Even short running time of 20 minutes per episode didn’t prevent Volume 3 from staying on Netflix Top-10 list for two weeks, with a total of 30 million hours viewed. Volume 4 will have the same episode count as Volume 3, which is nine. Tim Miller, the creator of the show, and David Fincher, the previous showrunner, will be back as the executive producers. Netflix also released a Season 4 synopsis: “Terror, imagination and beauty combine in nine new episodes which stretch from uncovering an ancient evil to a comedic apocalypse, telling startling short stories of fantasy, horror and sci-fi with trademark wit and visual invention.” The participating animated studios were not revealed yet, but Tim Miller’s own studio, Blur Studio, which already produced eight episodes, is expected to take part.
