LUPIN Season 2 Release Set for 2021 by Netflix. Omar Sy Returns as Assane Inspired by Arsène Lupin

If you already binged on Part 1 of the new Netflix Original series Lupin, we have great news for you – Part 2, with the remaining 5 episodes, is coming to Netflix very soon, in the second half of 2021. The heist drama series Lupin became the 6th French Netflix show, following such hits as The Hook Up Plan, Mortel and Into the Night. It’s also the most successful French Netflix Original as Lupin is currently on track to beat the first-month viewership records of the latest mega-hits Bridgerton and The Queen’s Gambit, which were watched globally by more than 60 million households each. French star Omar Sy, who won 2012 César Award for the blockbuster movie The Intouchables, always dreamed of playing the charming swindler Arsène Lupin: “If I were British, I would have said James Bond, but since I’m French, I said Lupin.” Instead, he got to play the modern interpretation of Lupin and overnight became an international star, thanks to the Netflix series, which currently boasts an incredible 95% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
