BLACK MIRROR Season 6 Netflix Release Set for 2023, Creator Charlie Brooker Confirms

Hey, guys! Wow, what a bomb: Netflix just revealed that Black Mirror Season 6 is officially happening! The Season 6 announcement comes almost THREE years after the release of Season 5 in June of 2019. What makes the Season 6 renewal even more special is the fact that two years ago, Charlie Brooker revealed that he had no plans to continue with the series, and Netflix reported that Black Mirror was canceled. Brooker said in May 2020 that the audience had no need or appetite for dystopian storylines as the world was in the midst of the COVID pandemic. For your reference, 51-year old British journalist, screenwriter and producer, Charlie Brooker is the creator, writer and producer of Black Mirror. His work on Black Mirror brought Brooker FIVE Primetime Emmy awards: three for Best TV Movie and 2 for Best Writing. Brooker’s creative partner and co-executive producer Annabel Jones will be back for Season 6 as well. While any details regarding new storylines are kept under a tight lid, we learned that Season 6 will have more than 3 episodes, so we’re hoping for 6. Moreover, Brooker and Jones are planning to make a new Black Mirror season even more cinematic, with each episode being more like a standalone movie.
