THE BLACKLIST Season 10 Release Set for Fall 2022, James Spader Returns as Red Reddington

Hey, guys! Great news for James Spader fans as NBC just renewed The Blacklist for Season 10! The renewal for the milestone 10th season came halfway through the current Season 9, which is set to wrap up on NBC this June. For international viewers, new episodes are made available weekly on Netflix. The Season 10 renewal of The Blacklist was announced by the show’s leading actor and executive producer James Spader when he came to The Tonight Show to promote The Blacklist‘s return to its regular Friday night listing. The departure of Megan Boone, who played Elizabeth Keen for eight seasons, had some critics worry that the show would lose a part of its loyal audience coming into Season 9. Those worries didn’t come true, as the ninth season is up by 1% in the demo and down by only 4% in viewership numbers. The creative team used Keen’s death to shake things up. The expected time jump was used to show how things changed, but what’s even more pleasing is that after the new threat pulls the team back together – things are very different. James Spader is masterful as Reddington and his brilliance alone keeps the show going after nine years.
