This is Day 10 of my new series "Thirty 80's Metal Riffs In 30 Days"

In this lesson we're looking at the main riff to the track "Malaria" from the band L.A. Guns, and this is from their 1989 album Cocked and Loaded.

The riff itself is based in E minor and has a killer groove. In fact that's the main secret to playing this correctly...lock in with the groove! Guitarist Tracii Guns has a bunch of cool riffs all throughout the LA Guns catalogue.
