Gordon Pinsent Part Two
Gordon Pinsent (b. 1930) was born in Grand Falls NL and began his theatre career in Winnipeg with Theatre 77. He was a founding member of the Manitoba Theatre Centre company, and also performed with the Crest Theatre and the Stratford Festival. In television, he played the title role in the CBC-TV series Quentin Durgens, MP, and wrote and appeared in A Gift to Last. In film, he wrote and played the title roles in The Rowdyman and John and the Missus. His many awards include a Genie for best supporting actor in the film Away from Her (2007).
