The Traits of a Female Narcissist | All About Female Narcissism
This video talks about everything related to female narcissism. Are female narcissists different than male narcissists? While all narcissists share common traits, certain traits may appear to be higher in females and others in males. This is due to the different way that males and females are socialized. So what makes a female narcissist?
1) Females are more often (not always) more covert narcissists. Meaning they are more likely to play up their victimness and everyone is against me card(s). Nobody understands their pain or will suffer as much as them.
2) They tend to be very superficial and vain. Vanity, at surface level, is not a narcissistic trait. It's okay to care about how you look, however, female narcissists are not only vain but superficial, meaning they lack any other real depth (values) beyond what is skin deep.
3) Female narcissists are more likely to utilize children as a source of supply. They can be over-bearing and controlling. Lacking in boundaries and unable to separate themselves from their children even into adulthood.

There are several common misconceptions about narcissists, one big one being that they are all male. This isn't true. Female narcissists are alive and well. Secondly, they are less destructive. This is also a myth. Female narcissists can be just as destructive as male narcissists.
