Cost of living pressures 'worse under Labor' despite their promises: Kenny
When Labor was trying to win government they were blaming the cost of living pressures on the Coalition but it’s now “worse under Labor”, says Sky News host Chris Kenny.
According to Mr Kenny, more numbers are coming through to “confirm and detail our pain” and the Treasurer is “washing his hands” of the issue.
“We're all paying for it and there's not much the government can do about it," he said.
“How the tune changes when they're in government, how the promises fall by the wayside.
“They promised to reduce the cost of living, it was a silly promise to make, but maybe some people believed them.”
