Triple J host leaves ‘Treaty’ song on continuous loop following resoundingly Voice defeat
Sky News host Chris Kenny says Triple J radio ‘Nooky’ put to air his own little personal protest after the Voice referendum was resoundingly defeated.
“He put to air last night his own little personal protest at the referendum result on our money,” Mr Kenny said.
The radio host played Yothu Yindi's Treaty on a continuous loop for an hour leaving listeners baffled.
“He played that song on repeat for a full hour,” Mr Kenny said.
At the start of the show Mr Webster - the host of Snooky, delivered an intense speech to his audience, calling the Voice referendum result “the most overt, unconcealed manifestation of racism” he’s ever experienced in his lifetime.
