A fire breaks out in Daiba area immediately following the earthquake. Black smoke rises from a building under construction.

地震直後、フジテレビ(台場)の近辺で発生した火災の様子を捉えた映像(3月11日：午後3時半ごろ)
建設中のビル屋上から黒煙が空高く一直線に舞い上がる。
近隣で発生した異変に、フジテレビ取材班も現地に急行。

火災が発生したのは、海上保安庁海洋情報部庁舎のビル(東京・江東区青海)
現場ビル近くに寄ると、黒煙がモクモクと上がり、時折、炎も垣間見える。
サイレンのけたたましい音が鳴り響き、消防車が駆けつける。
報道陣も含め人が大勢集まり始め、現場は騒然としてくる。

Footage: Fire breaking out near Fuji TV (Daiba, Minato ward) immediately after the earthquake. (March 11th, around 3:30 p.m.) Black smoke rises high into the sky in a straight line from the roof of a building under construction. Taking note of the emergency situation in the neighborhood, Fuji TV reporters rush to the scene and promptly report about the breaking news. (Aerial shot from helicopter) The fire had occurred at the Japan Coast Guard Hydrographic and Oceanographic Department office building. (Aomi, Koto ward, Tokyo) Nearing the building at the scene, black smoke is rising profusely and glimpses of the flame can be seen at times. The loud screeching of the siren is heard across town and fire trucks come rushing in. The scene is in a stir, with a crowd of people and reporters beginning to gather.
