In this lesson we're studying the great Warren DeMartini's guitar solo in the RATT hit song "Lay It Down" from 1985.

Lots to gain here by paying close attention to the bending and vibrato nuances. This is a well constructed solo that builds gradually and slowly moves up the neck until the high point at the end.

Tuning is Drop D for the song although you can play this solo in standard tuning as it doesn't use the low 6th string at all.
