Car seat reupholstery using old cover as templates

I want to share a reupholstery I did on a Toyota Rav 4 car driver's seat. As we can see at the beginning of the video the front leather panels were partially torn, besides of being too brittle.
This car as many other similar car trademarks the leather is on the main seat and backrest panels. The other parts were upholstered in vinyl material. In fact I had to redo the whole seat and backrest front portion.
The old panels were useful to get the templates. Not trustable 100% though. It was necessary to somehow correct while outlining the contour.
The old cover parts were transferred to the cardstock paper in order to get flat patterns. The necessary seam allowance was added to the leather and vinyl material edges. The making of templates technique is taught in our basic upholstery courses.
A similar perforated leather was used for the central panels, both seat and backrest. Plain leather for the lateral panels. The other parts in vinyl were reattached together to get the similar OEM pattern.
I hope you find this video helpful!
