Chain fence pattern - Upholstery

One of our Youtube followers asked me if I could replicate a chain fence design (cyclonic mesh).
I tried to find some information on the network with no success.
I have found a particular way to replicate this pattern that is the drawing of small squares all over the vinyl or leather material.
These little squares are guides to draw the desired pattern. It could be made in a vertical position simulating squares or in a different position simulating rhombuses.
The visual effect is of interlaced squares. The 'laces' could be narrower or wider in measure.
I have sewn many times part by part. It is really 'time consuming' but worthwhile considering that we love our artisan way of doing things.
CNC machines considerably reduce the time of the sewing process.
This design can be used on car seats too provided the stitches are longer. I will use this small piece to make a personal hand bag.
I hope you enjoy and find some inspiration in this video to perform your own upholstery projects! Hopefully, you would find another easier way to make this pattern.
