Suddenly, I have had in mind to achieve a foamed design for a vehicle or furniture. An issue arose while trying to find the special presser feet for my Durkopp&Adler 268-FA-373 sewing machine in order to properly carry out the raised pleats upholstery project.

I have resorted to online sales sites, some specialized sewing machine shops in this city, etc. with no success.
The best solution would have been to turn to a lathe/milling operator to order the required pieces.

But, before going to the technician, I made up my mind to make the presser feet by hand using some handy tools I have in the shop and a piece of iron bar. As we can see in the video the outcome is not 100 % perfect but it works out and my goal was fulfilled.

Of course, these pieces are rough samples that will be useful to make flawless ones.

I want to share this experience with my users and hopefully a grain of inspiration to solve issues and perform your own ideas and projects!
