House Flip Finished and Under Contract in One day! Bought from the MLS 7/17/2020

We bought this house from the MLS for $215,000! I could not quite remember in the video what the price was, but it was $215k. I thought the price was just a little high for a flip but it needed very little work so I decided to go for it.

The house was not in bad shape, but we still ended up doing paint, flooring, a roof, fixtures, baths, and some trim work. I think spent around $25,000 on the repairs and will have another $25,000 on other costs. We listed it for $299,900 and had an offer on the first day!

The numbers were a little tight on this one when I first bought it, but prices have been going up and we were able to keep the repair costs down. It should be a great flip and I am glad we went for it.

I have learned that it is often better to pay a little more for a house than needs less work than taking on the massive remodels.
