House Flip #217: Unbelievable Seller is Gone and We are Making Progress on the Remodel!

I bought this house after testifying in court about my value and how we buy houses! I was pushed into a divorce situation and it was not a fun situation but I think the worst is behind us and we are making progress fixing up the house!

One of the owners wanted to sell and one of them did not. After closing one of the sellers left her dogs, and would not leave the house, it was a mess! We were able to get all of her stuff to her including the dogs and we are already working on the house! We have a lot of flips going right now but we have been doing a great job getting things finished quickly lately.

We bought this one for $300,000, it needs about $35,000 in work, $30,000 on other costs and it should be worth a little more than $400,000 once we are done. We were thinking of finishing the basement when I had it under contract but the market has improved and I do not think that is needed anymore!
